When is a ring too tight?

You don't want to lose a costly ring, whether it has diamond setting or not. So a ring that fits too loosely is not a good thing, nor is a ring that is too tight, because it feels uncomfortable and can even disrupt the blood supply. A ring is too loose when you can remove it effortlessly from your finger. It fits well when you can lightly twist it off over the knuckle fairly easily.
