What affects the price when resizing a ring?

Resizing price depends on the metal, the number of sizes changed and the complexity of the setting. For jewellery bought at BAUNAT, we offer a free resize within 30 days of delivery, so an initial adjustment costs you nothing. Beyond that window, or when the change exceeds our standard range, a small fee applies: an existing model can be adjusted up to 3 sizes for a modest charge. Costs rise when metal must be added rather than removed, since gold and platinum are priced by market weight, and when diamonds along the band require repositioning by hand in our Antwerp atelier. To avoid resizing entirely, measure carefully first: the average ring size is 52, we can send you a plastic ring sizer before you order upon request. Contact your advisor before returning a ring to confirm the fee and timeframe.
