What is a pink diamond?

It is believed that pink diamonds are the rarest. Each year, only a few examples are found over the entire world. Most are found in the Argyle Mine in Australia. Pink diamonds are thus very rare, but at the same time also very popular. That is partly due to their unparalleled purity. The result comes as no surprise: the price of pink diamonds has been spiralling upwards for some years now.
