The Kimberley Process certifies that rough diamonds are conflict-free, meaning they do not finance armed conflict, but it does not, on its own, guarantee every environmental or social standard. Launched in 2003 and backed by the participating governments, it tracks diamonds from mine to market to keep conflict stones out of the legitimate trade. At BAUNAT we go further: we sell 100% natural diamonds that have been mined in an ecologically responsible manner and traded transparently, with no conflict, treated or clarity-enhanced stones. Every diamond is certified by GIA, HRD or IGI, which means it is fully Kimberley-compliant and independently graded for cut, colour and clarity. Read more on our own page about the Kimberley Process. When you buy, ask for the accompanying certificate so you can verify both the origin and the quality of your diamond.
