What is the difference between white gold and silver?

White gold is an alloy of gold, silver, paladium, copper and a small percentage of other metals,  and is often confused with platinum or silver. The materials are similar in colour. Silver is a transitional metal in which we have four alloys indicated with numbers, of which 925 is the best known. The difference between silver and white gold is in the metal, and the slight difference in colour. Silver is whiter than white gold at the base, but it is duller because of the difference in hardness.
