How to recognize white gold

In white gold, the alloy consists of gold, silver, palladium, copper and a small percentage of other metals, making white gold more silver-coloured than white. Most jewellery in white gold are made in 18 Karat. This alloy consists of 75% pure gold and 25% other metals. White gold jewellery is rhodium-plated, which gives the jewellery its bright colour. White gold can be recognized by its pronounced silver sparkle
