Does the GIA Certify Rings?

The GIA certifies loose diamonds, not finished rings or their metal settings. A GIA grading report documents an individual diamond's colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight, each stone graded by multiple trained gemmologists and given a unique number you can verify on the laboratory's website. At BAUNAT, every natural diamond of 0.30ct and higher is supplied with a report from GIA, HRD or IGI, the three most respected laboratories worldwide. When your diamond is set into a BAUNAT ring, that same report accompanies the piece as proof of its 100% natural origin and promised quality. If you prefer a specific laboratory such as GIA, request it before purchase, as this must be specified in advance. Read more on our diamond certification page.
