How can I tell if my stone is a real diamond and can BAUNAT test it?

A genuine diamond is confirmed only by an accredited gemmological laboratory such as GIA, HRD or IGI, which grades it under professional equipment and issues a certificate. BAUNAT does not appraise or test loose stones and cannot verify authenticity virtually through chat, phone, email or video, since a reliable assessment requires the stone in hand under magnification. Home tests using water, a flashlight, breath fog or a mirror give only rough indications and never replace laboratory verification. For a definitive answer, take your stone to a GIA, HRD or IGI laboratory and request an independent opinion.
