The depth of a diamond is measured from the culet at the bottom to the top of the diamond table. Both, the dimensions of the table and the depth of the diamond, determine how well the current diamond is cut. Both properties, dimension and depth, are shown as percentages of the girdle. The girdle is the widest part of the diamond. The right depth percentage is essential to achieve the optimal brilliance of the diamond, and thus acts as an indispensable aspect, which we have to determine carefully.
