Alloy: 18 Kt yellow gold

  • All our jewellery is made with 100% responsibly sourced precious metals. The alloy of this jewel is 18 karat yellow gold, meaning it consists of 75% pure, ethically sourced gold. This ensures your jewel is both sturdy and durable. To achieve a timeless yellow gold colour, we alloyed the gold with silver and a small quantity copper.

BAUNAT only uses the highest quality materials. Both 18 karat gold and 950 platinum are durable alloys best suited for diamond jewellery.

The weight of diamonds is expressed in carats. The size of a diamond is in direct correlation with its weight.

Select diamond quality

We offer two quality combinations, both guarantee a diamond with a beautiful white colour and high clarity: G-VS2 and H-SI1. Thanks to the optimal cut quality, all our diamonds have a really wonderful brilliance.

What does colour mean for colourless diamonds?

Our collection of near-colourless grade diamonds only contains the colours G and H. G is the highest colour gradation we offer for our standard collection. The very light colour is only visible to the naked eye if you compare the stone with higher-graded diamonds, but not by itself or in jewellery.With a diamond with colour grade H, the colour is slightly visible to the naked eye, but not visible in jewellery.

What are impurities in diamonds?

At BAUNAT, you can buy standard diamonds with a purity level VS2 or SI1. VS2 diamonds contain inclusions that are not or barely discernible to the naked eye. With SI1 diamonds, it is possible that inclusions can be very slightly discernible, but only under very good conditions.

What are the benefits of a low diamond setting?

A jewel with low diamond setting means that the diamond is set very close to the wearer. This type of diamond setting is very comfortable to wear and is great for people with an active lifestyle, or when you need to wear gloves for example.

Will I receive a diamond certificate?

You will receive a diamond certificate for every stone larger than or equal to 0.3 carat. At BAUNAT we only work with the most renowned certificates of the diamond industry worldwide: GIA, HRD & IGI.

How is the jewel shipped?

BAUNAT offers free delivery worldwide. When your jewel is ready, we will contact you to arrange the delivery with you personally. We only work with reliable courier services that have extended experience in the shipment of valuable goods. All our shipments are 100% insured.

What does the packaging look like?

Every BAUNAT jewel comes with exquisite jewellery gift packaging, including a BAUNAT jewellery box, shopping bag, guarantee card and cleaning cloth. The packaging is perfectly suited for a present.

Can I see this jewel in real life?

You are more than welcome to visit one of our BAUNAT showrooms to see our jewels in person. Each showroom has a curated selection of jewellery available to help you experience our craftsmanship and quality up close.If you would like to see a specific jewel or design, please mention this when booking your appointment.
