The oval shape refers to the diamond’s cut. The oval diamond forms part of the round diamond shapes and optically looks bigger than the round brilliant. It’s a rare and original shape when buying diamond jewellery. BAUNAT offers this shape as standard.
Polish refers to the degree of smoothness of each facet of a diamond when graded by a gemologist. Polish is graded on a scale from Excellent to Poor. For diamonds with polish grade Excellent to Good, no polish defects will be visible to the naked eye.
