Designer Elisa Schepens provides her own and very personal interpretation to the concept of “inner beauty”. Elisa was left dramatically moved after becoming unexpectedly sick and suffering a near-death experience. She felt an indescribable warm and comforting light, like an inner sun, which helped her overcome her illness. These emotions and the confrontation with her inner strength inspired Elisa to create Solé. Elisa's sister, Helena Schepens, was responsible for its rendering.
