What does colour mean for colourless diamonds?

Our collection of near-colourless grade diamonds only contains the colours G and H. G is the highest The very light colour is only visible to the naked eye if you compare the stone with higher-graded diamonds, but not by itself or in jewellery.With a diamond with colour grade H, the colour is slightly visible to the naked eye, but not visible in jewellery.

What are impurities in diamonds?

At BAUNAT, you can buy standard diamonds with a purity level VS2 or SI1. VS2 diamonds contain inclusions that are not or barely discernible to the naked eye. With SI1 diamonds, it is possible that inclusions can be very slightly discernible, but only under very good conditions.

    The alloy of this jewel consists of 75% pure gold, also called 18 karat gold. This ensures your jewel is both sturdy and durable. To achieve an elegant red gold colour, the gold is alloyed with copper and a small quantity of silver.

  • Certified princess diamond, 1 x 1.20 Ct, of high quality
  • Round diamonds, with a total of 0.70 Ct, of high quality
  • H colour, SI1 clarity, VG polish

What is a princess diamond?

Princess refers to the diamond’s cut. The princess cut is square or rectangular and has 57 or 58 facets. This is the second most popular shape when buying diamond jewellery, after the round brilliant. BAUNAT offers this shape as standard.

What is a halo?

A halo is a diamond setting where a central main stone is surrounded by smaller stones, which creates the illusion that it looks bigger. The term ‘halo’ refers to the phenomenon of light in the atmosphere when coloured or white rings are visible around the sun or moon.

What is a castle setting?

A castle setting is a type of diamond setting which is similar to pavé, but with the difference that the small diamonds are visible from the side as well. This pattern looks from the side like the battlements of a castle, hence the name.

Will I receive a diamond certificate?

You will receive a diamond certificate for every stone larger than or equal to 0.3 carat. At BAUNAT we only work with the most renowned certificates of the diamond industry worldwide: GIA, HRD & IGI.

How is the jewel shipped?
