Entourage
An entourage setting features a central gemstone flanked by other smaller gemstones, usually diamonds. This arrangement optically enlarges the central stone and makes it pop.
Entourage earrings are elegant and classy but more unique than a pair of solitaire earrings, for example. Combining diamonds in an entourage enhances the centre stone’s shape and fire brilliantly.
The entourage setting looks lovely using only colourless diamonds. Although, if you want to add some colour to your engagement ring, a sapphire or coloured diamond looks exceptional as the central stone.
Choose from our entourage earrings in white gold, platinum, yellow gold, or red gold.
Sapphire
Sapphires are precious gemstones that consist of the mineral corundum. Blue sapphires are the most common, but yellow, orange and purple sapphires also exist.
After diamonds and moissanite, sapphires are the third hardest material on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness.
The symbolism of sapphires has changed over time. People also used to believe that a blue sapphire protected you against magic and witchcraft. According to Hindustani superstition, a sapphire brings good luck to the wearer under the influence of the planet of Saturn.
Today, sapphires mainly symbolise truth, love, purity and sincerity. With its intense blue appearance, the sapphire is perfect as an accent colour for a beautiful pair of earrings or an engagement ring.
