4. The number of carats

The term carat refers to the weight of the diamond, not the size. Because of the size of the diamond, a stone may look much larger than a stone that is actually denser and therefore has a larger carat. In addition, as large stones are much rarer, a single 2 carat diamond will cost much more than two diamonds of one carat.

5. The type of ring

And what about the wedding ring itself in all this? Here too, you will have to choose from several widths, although in general 4mm with a thickness of about 1.5mm is mostly preferred.
